This policy explains what ogix.me collects when you register a link, how it is used, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- From you: first and last name, email address, mobile number, and ZIP code if you give one.
- Created for you: your number, your ogix.me link, your QR code, and a record of the email codes we send you.
- From your connection: the country your connection comes from, and a scrambled form of your network address used only to limit abuse.
How we use it
- To create and show your link, number, public page and QR code.
- To confirm your email and help you get your link back.
- To keep the service secure and stop abuse.
- To contact you about your link and about offers from ogix.me and its partner companies.
Sharing and sale of personal information
We may share or sell the personal information listed above with partner and affiliated companies, including for their marketing. You can opt out at any time by cancelling your link on the Cancel my link page, which deletes your information. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out.
Your public page shows your name, number and QR code to anyone who opens your link.
How long we keep it
Your information stays on file while your link exists, and for 10 years after your account is cancelled, disabled or removed, or longer if the law requires. An email used for a cancelled, disabled or removed account cannot register again.
Disabling and removing accounts
We may disable your account, or remove you from ogix.me and its partner companies, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. No explanation is required. We keep the account's information on file as described above.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. You can cancel your account yourself on the Cancel my link page. For other requests, email team@ogix.me from the address on your link; we confirm it's you by email before acting. We respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
ogix.me is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including storing email codes only in scrambled form. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
